Microsoft today announced the launch of ZenZui, a zooming interface for mobile devices. The software was financed by Redmond, but developed by an independent company with the ambition to “transform the way people engage, consume and interact with Web content through a revolutionary mobile user experience and information ecosystem.”
As you can see in the video, it is indeed a pretty svelte setup. Several companies have hopped on board for the initial trial, including Kayak.com, OTOlabs, Avenue A | Razorfish and Traffic.com. I’d be thoroughly willing to give it a shot.
