Dell's XPS 630 reviewed

Sure, the company owns premiere gaming rig makers Alienware, but Dell wants its own piece of that lucrative pie. Enter the Dell XPS 630 desktop, a great gaming powerhouse. Running Vista Home Premium on a Core 2 Duo E8200 chip clocking in at 2.66GHz, it’s got muscle. The real deal is the nVideo GeForce 8800 GT graphics card and 2GB RAM. According to Computer Shopper, this configuration allows you to run Company of Heroes at almost 100 frames per second at a respectable 1,600 x 1,200 resolution. Why you’d need more is beyond us.

The box comes in at $1,269 and is available now from Dell’s website.
