Social productivity startup Spigit is launching MobileSpigit, a free application that brings the startup’s collaborative, social platform to iPhones.
Spigit’s products help businesses and teams contribute ideas, offer feedback and evaluate concepts to streamline idea generation and promote innovation. The mobile version of Spigit contains much of the same functionality as the software, allowing users to connect to their community from anywhere.
Users can also receive automatic status updates on projects, ideas and proposals that they are currently developing. Fresh off of raising $10 million in funding, Spigit recently launched WE by Spigit, a collaboration tool for small businesses.
Spigit’s software has some big name clients IBM, Pfizer, Lloyds Banking Group, Walmart, MedPlus, Southwest Airlines and Choice Hotels International. The startup faces competition from Jive and BrightIdea.
