Japanese Company Shows 200-Inch 3D Projection Screen

Another day, another 3D-related news item: Japan-based OS has announced [JP] a 3D projection screen for everybody who needs to view 200-inch pictures in three dimensions. OS expects demand for its silver screen to mainly come from amusement parks and similar facilities.

The screen supports full HD, needs two projectors to produce 3D pictures and requires viewers to use (passive) 3D glasses. OS says they were able to push down crosstalk interference to 0.4% and claims with a level as low as this, ghost effects are unrecognizable to the naked eye.

In Japan, the company plans to start offering the screen in 13 variations and with an open price model on Thursday (the 200-inch screen, the biggest, is displayed on top of this post).
